Caroline Berler is an award-winning documentary film director and editor based in New York City. Her recent editing work includes an episode for the PBS series American Problems, Trans Solutions, the feature films Locked Out and Mama Gloria (Chicago International Film Festival, PBS) and The Lesbian Bar Project documentary short. She directed and edited The Renegades for the New York Times Style Magazine, and Dykes, Camera, Action! (Frameline) which won the Award for Emerging Talent at the Outfest Film Festival. Caroline is an adjunct professor at the School of Visual Arts. She holds an MFA in documentary film from SVA and was a sociology major at NYU.
